Prairie's Parent Teacher Community Organization's mission is to support and enhance the student experience at Prairie MS and contribute resources to the mission and vision of the school.Our desire as a PTCO is to create collaboration, teamwork, and healthy partnerships with Prairie parents and the school's administration and staff.

Our fundraising efforts contribute money to school beautification projects, teacher grants for classroom needs, and many other projects. In the past, we have funded a Gazebo with outdoor seating, and many other supports for Prairie. 

The Parent Information Network is a grass-roots, parent-run organization. We work in association with, but are not part of, the Cherry Creek School District. No RSVP needed. Presentations are FREE and, unless noted otherwise, are held at:

The Voices of Color Committee [formerly District P.A.S.S. (Partnerships for Academically Successful Students] is comprised of parents, Cherry Creek Schools teachers and administrators, and community members. 

Our goal is to foster an inclusive and safe environment to support the success of students of color. We do this by:

• Engaging community members in meaningful and effective partnerships
• Building relationships between schools and family communities
• Providing parents and guardians of students of color voice and direct access to the administration

Members of the District Accountability Committee advise Cherry Creek School District Board of Education members on spending priorities, review applications for charter schools, and report on the effectiveness of district programs.  ​​This committee has broad responsibilities for ensuring the district's continued educational success and cost-effective management and is organized in compliance with Colorado state law. DAC also reviews school improvement plans and prepares an annual report for the Board of Education.
