August 11, 2014 is the first day of school for schools on the transitional calendar: Aspen Crossing, Black Forest Hills, Buffalo Trail, Coyote Hills, Creekside, Dakota Valley, Mountain Vista Elementary Schools.

Are you interested in the future of the Cherry Creek School District? Would you like to be involved with long range planning for schools and other facilities? Then consider volunteering for the district’s Long Range Facility Planning Committee.
There are five openings on this group of citizens and district employees, which evaluates issues including new construction, renovation of existing facilities, attendance boundaries and calendar issues. The group advises the Board of Education and recommends cost effective plans for capital facilities.
