Five school nurses from the Cherry Creek School District were selected as 2015 Fellows for the prestigious Rutgers/Johnson & Johnson School Health Leadership Program, held July 12-17 at Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The purpose of the 6th Grade orientation is to make you feel comfortable and to welcome you as part of our Prairie family. It will be a day filled with activities and a great way to meet friends. Meet in the main entry hallway of the school. We will also have a Parent Orientation on the same day from 10:45a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Prairie's Library.
In July, you will receive an email informing you that the Parent Online Forms system is ready for 2015-16 annual check in. If you do not have access to a computer, we will have help on July 28th and 29th from 4pm-7pm at the IST building. / En julio usted recibira un correo electronico informandole que los formularios estan listos para la matricula anual del 2015-2016. Si no tiene acceso a una computadora, tendremos ayuda los dias 27 y 28 de julio de 4pm-7pm en el edificio de IST.
Please have your child read at least one book from the grade level list he or she will be entering in the 2015-2016 school year. Please click read more for a list of the books.

The 3rd Annual Cherry Creek Schools Foundation
Cardboard Challenge will be held on Wed., Oct. 7 at Smoky Hill High
School. The Cardboard Challenge is a worldwide celebration of child
creativity. Students are challenged to create and build using cardboard, recycled

To protect the health of all students the state of Colorado has made several changes in immunization requirements. Parents need to be aware of the following changes for the 2015-16 school year:
And beginning in July 2016, parents seeking non‐medical exemptions for prekindergarten children will need to submit exemption forms at each age when recommended vaccines are due. Then from kindergarten through 12th grade, they will need to submit exemption forms annually. Read more about this requirement.
