The Cherry Creek School District Board of Education on Tuesday, Sept.
8, 2015 called for an election to fill three seats on the board.
of the five District Director seats will appear on the ballot. Board
President Jim O'Brien in Director District A is term limited and will
retire as of Election Day Nov. 3, 2013. Board Member Claudine McDonald
in Director District B also is term limited.
Incumbent Dave Willman in Director District C, is running for re-election unopposed.
One candidate, Eric Parish, has filed to run in District A.

Tuesday afternoon, media attention was focused on the Educational Services Center of the Cherry Creek School District. I want to take this opportunity to provide additional details about the incident.
A package was delivered to the district administration building in the afternoon. When the person who received the package started to open it, the individual realized that there was something unusual about its contents. Read more . . .
The Cherry Creek School District has received a charter school application for the Heritage Heights Academy, to be managed by the charter school management company Academica. A meeting will be held from 7-8 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Fox Ridge Middle School to give community members an opportunity to ask questions. This meeting will include a short presentation by the parents representing the proposed charter school. Most of the evening will be dedicated to allowing the community to provide testimony in support for or in opposition to the opening of the charter school. Read more . . .
