A New Age in Education
I

Instructional programming designed for the Institute of Science & Technology has been streamlined into career concentrations. These career concentrations allow students on our 6 – 12 campus to explore a variety of careers, experience real-world applications and have the ability to acquire certifications in specific fields.

At the Overland Zone, a 6-12 campus of educational excellence, S.T.E.M. is not a place, but a comprehensive set of 21st Century skills that include problem-solving, innovation, creativity, communication and collaboration. These skills are essential in preparing students with the knowledge to compete in a highly technological and competitive global marketplace.

Our campus offers the most dual credit offerings in the Cherry Creek School District. Dual credit offerings are taught by educators who are endorsed in both college and 6-12 academic institutions. Successful completion of these offerings will meet both college-level credit and high school graduation requirements. Some courses are designed to lead to certifications in a content area.

In partnership with our greater community, we are an extended Campus of Community College of Aurora and house an elementary lab to be used by the staff and students from each of our feeder elementary schools.

national and global society.
